★☆★❤ Monthly Round Up! ❤★☆★

Wow! It's been a little while since we've made one of these! It's been a busy couple of months for both of us! ヽ(・∀・)ノ We've had our end of year show at college, had a birthday (Nat's 18th!) and taken a little weekend trip to London to celebrate! (。◕‿◕。) So, without further ado: a collection of pictures telling you exactly what we've been up to:

Firstly, we got to use some of those cute homewares we posted about! I didn't find the whisk much use (too much bend when trying to whisk) but everything else held up pretty well for not costing very much! 。◕‿‿◕。

Footloose rehearsals (our Reverend, one of our best friends!) and reorganizing our bookshelves a little bit. We own more than a few copies of Les Mis! (*>w<*)

Some cute little birthday presents from Haz to Nat! Haz was assisting in Nat's transformation to the full creepy cute ( ⌒‿⌒)!

We filled up this photo frame with cute photos of us and our friends! Plus a really cute OOTD of Haz featuring her Bodyline tea parties! (ノ゚ο゚)ノミ★゜・。。・゜゜・

We found one of these Sleeping Beauty bookends in a charity shop for only £2.50 and thought it was so adorable! Plus, Nat got a new wallet from Claire's Accessories that was reduced from £15.00 to £5! (●´∀`●)

Little treats we got ourselves in London! We had Patisserie Valerie in Kings Cross whilst waiting for our train to come in, and we bought the cupcakes there too! The stall looked so yummy, I wanted one of every flavour! ◕ ◡ ◕

Nat has some penpals from other countries! ヾ(^▽^)ノ One of them sends the cutest envelopes, and Nat likes to make sure the letters send back are just as pretty!

A little drawing of Haznat for Haz's memo board, and a picture from the opening night of Footloose! ヾ(=^▽^=)ノ

The shows we saw in London! We saw Les Mis twice (in honour of Cast Change!) and we saw Let The Right One In on Friday night, which was fabulous! (。◕‿◕。)

So that's what been going on in our lives! What about yours?

♥Games Review♥! - ♥Cindy's Sundaes!♥ (。◕‿◕。)

Time for something a little bit different! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Neither of us have ever really been hardcore gamers; we like cute things that are easy to do and master and have cute graphics! (and Nat really loves horror games, but that's a whole other kind of blogpost (•⊙ω⊙•) )
Today's game is called: Cindy's Sundaes

The plot of the game is really simple! Cindy decides to start running an ice cream parlour using the recipes passed down to her from her late grandmother! You play as Cindy, working in her parlours and trying to please enough customers to earn new desserts and move up in the world to various new locations for your business! ヽ(๏∀๏ )ノ Along the way, you unlock little bits and pieces to a story via the medium of comic strips (which, to be honest, aren't really that well-drawn!) (。・_・。)

The gameplay is a little bit like a management game, a little bit like Bejewelled; you get given a screen of ice cream flavours which you have to match up into lines of three or more. You drag the columns themselves along to move them and align them with their brethren! (^^;) However, at the same time, there is a customer waiting for their gradually more and more elaborate sundae; you have to score enough points to concoct it and do it quickly or they'll just up and leave! Simple combinations earn small points, big fancy ones earn a LOT of points! ( ^▽^)

When you do manage to get enough points to create the ice creams, it flashes up on screen and you get to see the customer looking very excited about their intended treat!

Along the way, you get to unlock more and more flavours and more and more combinations; each level is themed to coincide with a particular section of flavours! For interest, a Berry Garden provides various different berry flavours! You earn tokens as you go along that also allow you to buy toppings for you to create your own sundae, which is also very exciting and a lot of fun! (≧ω≦)

A quick summary of our experience of this game; fun, relaxing and not really that difficult to master - but, if you know how to play the game right, playing on and on in a certain area after you've earned every reward can be a little bit grating! (✖╭╮✖) Probably better to play little bits of at a time instead of devouring it all in one sitting!
